3/3/2019 5:00 PM
at Point Richmond, (Dhyana Hall, 235 Washington Ave, Point Richmond, CA, 94801)
This is a special two-day retreat with InsightLA’s founding teacher Trudy Goodman, Norman Fischer, and Anam Thubten of the Dharmata Foundation in Point Richmond, CA. The retreat will take place at Dhyana Hall in Northern California.
In this retreat, we reflect on this verse from one of the most liberating texts of the Buddha’s words, the Dhammapada: “All experience is preceded by mind, led by mind, made by mind.” The awakening of the Buddha is an invitation to embody wisdom and freedom in our own lives. Practicing together, we will draw upon three traditions—the heart of Zen, the spirit of Tibetan Buddhism and the essence of Theravada—to illuminate this invitation.
Pre-registration online is required. Suggested Retreat Fee: $50. Please register only if you can attend both days as space is limited. Dana for the teachers can be offered at the retreat. No one turned away for lack of funds
