Join Senior Teacher, Celeste Young for an exploration of mindfulness for those who have some experience with mindfulness and wish to go deeper.
This class offers a natural next step for those who have completed our Essentials of Mindfulness course. Build on your understanding of mindfulness meditation and the Insight that arises out of this practice.
We will explore the benefits of a growing meditation practice as well as common obstacles that come up in meditation, applied mindfulness in daily life exercises, finding support for your daily sitting, and deepening our understanding of the foundations of mindfulness, as well as expanding on the practice of lovingkindness.
Students will be asked to participate in a sitting group or daylong retreat during the course to support their practice.
This class is appropriate for people with some prior meditation experience such as an Essentials of Mindfulness or MBSR class.
There are six weekly classes on Wednesday mornings from 10am - 11:45am beginning September 12th until October 17th.
