It’s very easy and common for us to be disconnected from our bodies. This can happen when we’re stuck in our heads, distracted by social media, affected by trauma, physical pain or not living up to what we think our bodies should look like. This meditation is an invitation to drop out of our thinking mind and into the present moment by tuning into the body. We find that over time resting our awareness in the body can be a safe refuge for the mind.
The format for this event is a 5-minute introduction followed by a 30-minute guided meditation and ending with 10-minutes for Q&A with the teacher.
