Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

Refund and Event Policies

This workshop is for those who feel stuck with habits caused by anxiety and the uncertainties of everyday life. We all have cravings that compel us to repeat behaviors such as checking the news, stress eat, look at social media, feed worried thinking, smoke, drink and other uncontrollable activities. Why are unhealthy habits so hard to overcome? Why does willpower fail? Can we learn how our mind / body works to change behaviors?

We will be introduced to the science of how habits are formed that lead to worry and avoidance strategies along with ancient teachings and practices to go beyond cravings and everyday addictions. We will explore how curiosity, heartfulness and mindfulness practices can help us become aware of and disenchant anxiety related habits over time by offering innate rewards that foster greater resilience and ease.

The workshop will consist of:
▪ Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Habit Change concepts
▪ Introduction to the habit loop and reward-based learning
▪ A variety of short mindful awareness practices for daily use
▪ Group discussion
