Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Refund and Event Policies

We all reach those times in practice where our regular channels of comfort run dry. What we used to do to transcend agitation, soothe ourselves in the face of discontent or escape confrontation, no longer work. It might be that circumstances change. Or life pulls us outside our comfort zone. It could be because a relationship, health, politics, or money stirs. Likely, you’ve been experiencing some of these disruptions recently. The beauty of mindfulness is that inside of these times we find a perfect practice opportunity.

The Buddha taught that real relief comes not from making ourselves comfortable, but from expanding our ability to be mindful and awake, no matter what the circumstance. Essentially, to stay… when we want to run. In staying, we get to see what’s really at play in our being, and learn how to be free inside of it. We learn to love – ourselves, others, and life – even when none of it looks like we think it should.

Join meditation teacher and intimacy coach, Justine Dawson, for a regular drop in class on the opportunity of discomfort.

This bi-monthly group will help you with honest conversation and practical tools. We’ll join together in a brief meditation, some teaching and lots of time to discuss our real life questions and challenges.

You’ll cultivate the ability to:

  • Face challenging areas of life with curiosity and courage

  • Feel more resilient, and safe, no matter what’s happening around you

  • Find the wisdom in endarkenment – amidst shame, uncertainty and groundlessness

  • Expand your tolerance for life’s paradox and ambiguity (and maybe even start to love it)

  • Love your own and others darkness – better, deeper, broader

This group is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Join us every second and fourth Thursday from 1-2:15pm PST.
