Recovery Dharma is an international peer-led community that provides a Buddhist-inspired program for recovery. Key elements of the program include meetings, mentorship, and Buddhist recovery literature. It is open to those who suffer from drug addiction, those engaged in destructive behaviors related to food, sex, love and relationships, gambling, gaming, self-harm, shopping, and technology, and those suffering simply from the human condition.
We believe that Buddhist practices such as ethical living, meditation, and the development of wisdom and compassion empower us to end our suffering. Rather than seeking to escape reality by clinging to pleasure or running from pain, we learn to be present in the moment and in community.
We welcome you at whatever stage you are at in your recovery journey. The program is fully compatible with other spiritual paths and programs of recovery. The meeting format includes readings, meditation, and sharing. Participation in each element is always optional.
The suggested donation amount can be changed. For example, if you would like to donate $3: please delete the $5 amount on the registration page and type in $3.
