If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Refund and Event Policies

Let’s join together to meditate and talk about supporting the people in our lives (including ourselves) who may struggle with hopelessness, helplessness, or suicide in these difficult times.

We will discuss – and experience – the importance of connection, community, and compassion.

If you are considering giving up or if you know someone who might be at risk for suicide, please call 800-273-TALK (8255) and visit: https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/

The need for physical distancing leaves many of us isolated and in distress. This is a chance to sit together virtually, dialogue about this important topic, and connect.

“The opposite of suicide is not merely to remain alive. The opposite of suicide is connection.”

Join us once a month on a Saturday from 12:30-2pm PT

Feb. 20th: with special guest Patrick Park.
This month Patrick will share teachings about the three kinds of suffering and how to work with them in a supportive way. He will also discuss the four pillars of Zen.

Patrick Park began practicing meditation in 2003 and has sat over a hundred retreats. He is a senior Dharma teacher in the Kwan Um School of Zen. Patrick has worked as a professional singer-songwriter since 2002. His experience and interest in suicidality includes serving as a crisis counselor and supervisor at the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center since 2014. Patrick is a proud husband and father.
