We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Refund and Event Policies

We are deeply grateful to our community members for their understanding, patience, and support through this challenging and life changing chapter of our journey together. We are eager to move into the next phase of our adventure. In keeping with the principals of the dharma that underlies all of our activities, primarily ahimsa  (do no harm), we are requiring that all attendees be fully vaccinated in order to attend any in-person event. If you certify that you meet this requirement please select ‘yes’ on the registration page. This requirement is for the initial stage of reopening and we are looking forward to practicing together once again in-person! Please register early, max capacity is 15 students. We will be utilizing both the indoor (masks required) and shaded outdoor (masks optional) spaces.

At home with our loved ones. At work. In the checkout line at the grocery store. We encounter people every day and each encounter leaves an impression on us and them. That is why one of the most important activities to be wisely aware of is talking (and listening) with others.

In this series, we will establish a clear understanding of mindfulness meditation and then break off into pairs to see for ourselves what it’s like when we are aware that we are talking or listening. Please bring any object which can be held in hand.

Optional: invite a friend or loved one to help cultivate wiser ways of talking and listening with each other!
