Welcome to our community! No matter where you are and who you are, we’re here to help you develop the life-changing and life-giving practice of mindfulness meditation. In this class you’ll:
- learn what mindfulness is and what it isn’t
- practice a short meditation, and
- have an opportunity to share your intentions and ask questions – you are always welcome to pass if you prefer to simply observe.
We invite you to get to know fellow newcomers in the class who are also curious and looking to discover this practice which is known to be one of the most widely recommended, healthiest, and self-sustaining paths of improving our own lives and the lives of others. You’ll also receive guidance on what classes to take next based on you and your interests.
Our facilitators receive some of the highest levels of mindfulness meditation trainings, have practiced on multiple silent meditation retreats (each retreat entails 8 hours of meditation a day for 7+ days with little to no talking), have experienced a multitude of benefits (just ask – we love talking about how our practice continues to serve us!), and started exactly where you are right now.
This class is available every Monday from 12-12:30pm PST.
If you know someone who is looking to better themselves and/or is stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, uncertain, bored, alone, afraid, or in need of help please and thank you for sharing this class them. In response to the Coronavirus we are offering this class to service workers and those in need of financial support for free.
