Our community has been through so much these last four months. Through lockdowns and uprisings, we’ve found new ways of opening our hearts: meditating together online, sharing our painful and our joyful moments, and deepening our anti-racist practices.
Though we’re creating beautiful virtual space with each other, the lost revenue from in-person programming has put InsightLA in jeopardy. We made it this far because of you – our community, generous rent forgiveness by our Santa Monica landlord and aid from the Paycheck Protection Program. And yet, our centers remain closed for the foreseeable future making it challenging to sustain our cherished spaces and at the same time continue to pay our beloved staff and teachers
We are committed to sustaining our large Sangha, offering financial support to those in need, providing safe and accessible affinity groups, serving youth and healthcare workers, and transforming our structures and culture to center diversity, equity and inclusion.
We are so grateful to be sharing the joys and difficulties of this life with you. Thank you for investing in our community.
