Wisdom is one of the crown jewels of Buddhist meditation practice. One of the main vehicles of wisdom is seeing clearly, or insight, into our lives. While meditation and mindfulness have many benefits, few are as instrumental as wisdom in creating meaningful changes in our lives, and in supporting happiness. When insight arises it helps us to see clearly what is here, and just as importantly, how we can work with what is here to create happiness in our lives.
During this daylong retreat there will be an introduction to insight practices, time for guided and silent practice, as well as walking meditation.
Notes for the day:
- Please bring comfortable shoes for walking and layered clothing for temperature variations.
- Please bring a lunch, snacks and a water bottle
- We ask that phones and technology are turned off during the retreat, in order to unplug and connect.
