No matter how well things might go in life, there will always be “something.”
We all know the saying “what we resist persists.” But not resisting is so much easier said than done! By using mindfulness and compassion practices, we can turn towards what is challenging and become curious about what is happening in this particular moment. We can see more clearly when the mind is reacting, often out of habit, and how we can try something else.
During this two-day retreat there will be time for guided and unguided meditations, mindful walking and eating, reflection and sharing. We will spend time inside the house and outside in nature.
A few notes on what to bring:
- Please wear comfortable clothes and layers and be prepared for temperature changes.
- Wear sturdy shoes if you want to walk outside on the trail.
- Bring lunch for each day and your water bottle. We provide snacks, water and teas.
Schedule:
February 25th – Saturday: 9am – 5pm
February 26th – Sunday: 9am – 5pm
