A nourishing day of guided practice, ritual, and sound healing with Alexis Slutzky

Wildwomxn returns to InsightLA!
We are delighted to bring our first daylong event of 2025 to InsightLA in Benedict Canyon with our beloved guest teacher, Alexis Slutzky.

During times of significant loss and uncertainty, tending to our grief together becomes a powerful act of healing and resilience. Join us for a compassionate and nourishing community grief ritual led by Alexis Slutzky—an extraordinary wilderness guide, intuitive facilitator, and trained therapist. Alexis has over a decade of experience gently guiding individuals and communities through grief with empathy, humor, and deep insight.

In this supportive gathering, we’ll use song and sound, poetry, journaling, storytelling, nature immersion, and meaningful rituals to explore our personal and collective grief. Together, we’ll cultivate balance and ease, learning how grief can open our hearts to greater compassion and wisdom.

Some important themes we will explore together:

  • How do we remain steady and find balance during periods of significant personal and collective loss?
  • How do we keep our hearts open and compassionate without becoming overwhelmed by grief?
  • How can grief serve as a pathway toward deeper connection and understanding?
  • How do we cultivate resilience and respond to life’s challenges with wisdom and love?

Our day includes walking and sitting meditations, reflective exercises, nurturing community circles, and restorative time on InsightLA’s peaceful property, with breaks for lunch and snacks.

About Wildwomxn:
Wildwomxn is a monthly circle dedicated to nurturing connection, creativity, and awakening our innate wild wisdom. Founded by Maria Egan and Lulu Toselli, and inspired by Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ seminal work, Women Who Run With the Wolves, we explore the powerful, intuitive, passionate, and spiritual dimensions of feminine energy. Our inclusive community warmly welcomes female-identified and non-binary individuals.
