We can all be bodhisattvas: We and the world could be otherwise.

Join us for a day of teachings and practice with Norman and Kathie Fischer to highlight the publication of Norman Fischer’s new book, “The World Could be Otherwise: Imagination and the Bodhisattva Path.”

In this daylong retreat we’ll sit, walk, listen to teachings by Norman and Kathie, and discuss the bodhisattva path of the six paramitas (perfect virtues): generosity, ethical conduct, patience, energy, meditation, and transcendent wisdom. These six practices define the imaginative path of the bodhisattva — a spiritual hero fully dedicated to making effort for the benefit of others.

Books will be available for sale at the event and Norman will be offering a book signing.

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm.
