Safety

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Refund and Event Policies

Join us for an intimate gathering with Kathie and Norman Fischer after their daylong at InsightLA. If you don’t know Norman, he’s steeped in both Judaism and is a down to earth Zen teacher and wonderful writer & poet. He has a new book out: THE WORLD THAT COULD BE OTHERWISE.  His wife, Kathie, is an accomplished and deep Zen teacher in her own right. She and Norman just led the three month practice period at Tassajara this winter – getting up at 3AM every day and following the super intense schedule!

We’re suggesting a donation of $200/person because it’s to benefit our Mudita Fund, providing financial support to potential teachers of color & folks from marginalized communities who want to do retreats but can’t swing the $$. The gathering is early so everyone can continue on to Saturday night plans, or go home and nestle in like the early birds some of us have become :)…after some time to visit, Norman will read, too.

Hope you can come – always love to see you and appreciate your support – this should be a small, sweet gathering.

If you’re not able to attend but still want support The Mudita Fund click >>>HERE<<<.

At checkout, in the Dedication & Purpose section please note Mudita.
