“In mahamudra meditation there is no doctrine, no theology, no philosophy, no God, no Buddha. We go beyond name, beyond shape and color, beyond the relative, beyond self-image, beyond compassion. With our own consciousness we can experience the universal, infinity. We can just be in the experience of totality.”

Lama Yeshe

“The nature of the ultimate level of tamed mind is one in which the disturbing emotions and attitudes, their instincts and all obstacles preventing omniscience have been overcome completely and definitely. Only an ultimate or complete path that has method and wisdom as a unified pair, inseparable by nature, can lead us to such an ultimate state of tamed mind. Mahamudra offers one such unified path.”

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

MAHĀMUDRĀ: THE GREAT SEAL

“Mahāmudrā” or the “Great Seal” is the direct path of working with the nature of one’s mind. It is both the essence and fruit of the Buddhist path. It’s teachings are experiential, vibrant and deeply applicable to our modern lives. Passed down through a long line of accomplished Indian and Tibetan yogins and yoginīs, it’s teachings directly point us towards our deep awakened nature.

Through a combination of experiential learning and meditation this daylong workshop will dive deep into the heart of the Mahāmudrā teachings and tradition, helping us to better overcome mental and emotional habits that cause us unnecessary suffering. All are welcome!

Schedule: 10am – 4pm
