We are deeply grateful to our community members for their understanding, patience, and support through this challenging and life changing chapter of our journey together. We are eager to move into the next phase of our adventure. In keeping with the principals of the dharma that underlies all of our activities, primarily ahimsa (do no harm), we are requiring that all attendees be fully vaccinated in order to attend any in-person event. If you certify that you meet this requirement please select ‘yes’ on the registration page. This requirement is for the initial stage of reopening and we are looking forward to practicing together once again in-person! Please register early, max capacity is 15 students. We will be utilizing both the indoor (masks required) and shaded outdoor (masks optional) spaces.

In the Anapanasati Sutta, the Buddha offered his seminal teaching on mindfulness of breathing. In this 16 step process, one learns how to utilize mindfulness of breathing to explore the four foundations of mindfulness. After using this breathwork to calm the body and mind, one can then open up to insight practices.
In this half day long class, we will explore the overarching structure of the Anapanasati Sutta, participate in small groups, and practice the Anapanasati techniques together.
This is a hybrid event and will be available both in-person and online. To register for the online version click here.
Please bring a snack if needed. We will not have a lunch break.
