We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Donations are not refundable.

Refund and Event Policies

Join InsightLA’s west side teachers for a drop-in Benedict Canyon community sit followed by Buddhist teachings and mindful connections. This event takes place in person once monthly on select Wednesday evenings. 

Strengthen your practice and help build our West Side community by joining InsightLA’s west side teachers for this drop-in sit followed by supporting relevant Buddhist practices and teachings. At the end of the session, we’ll leave space for mindful connection and spiritual community.

Expect an experiential meditation, relational practices, community support and sharing, immediately followed by relaxed and wholesome social time. A typical schedule is as follows:

  • 7:15pm Welcome & Guided Meditation
  • 7:55pm Introductions with Prompt
  • 8:05pm Small Group Activity & Sharing
  • 8:45pm End & Optional Socializing 

Who is this event for?
This event is for anyone living or working in and around Benedict Canyon, who would like to deepen their practice in the community of like-minded others. Everyone is welcome, including those who are new to meditation.

COVID-19 Protocol: In keeping with the principles of the dharma that underlie our activities, primarily non-harming, we are requiring that all attendees be fully vaccinated in order to attend in person. Masks are optional as all attendees are fully vaccinated. Attendance is limited to allow for social distancing.
