Enjoy a day meditating in nature. Our Benedict Canyon Retreat house offers a perfect setting to go for a day of meditation and reflection. Nestled deep in the Canyon it’s hard to believe that you are still in Los Angeles. You can use the dharma hall for meditation, read in our library and walk on the trails around the grounds.
Silence will be kept in indoor spaces but talking with friends outside is okay.

9am-9:45am Meditation
11am-11:45am Meditation
2pm-2:30pm Meditation
What to bring:
1. Dress in layers (to add or remove) and bring a blanket or shawl for your own comfort
2. Cushion and/or props. Some cushions and chairs are available if you need.
3. Socks as you’ll be removing your shoes at the door.
4. Hat and a reusable water bottle (with ice for hot days) or a sealed mug.
5. Please bring lunch, as there are no food establishments nearby. There is a refrigerator and a microwave available for use.
