Refund and Event Policies

Living Dharma practice offers us a potent framework for finding a way to live an intentional life- one that uncovers our most sincere aspirations and can become an expression of our deeper values. The Buddha offered us 3 ways to practice wise intention: the cultivation of non-harming, lovingkindness, and renunciation, or letting go. These practices are both inner and outer. They are timeless teachings that are as relevant today as they were during the time of the Buddha, and they can help us to live richer lives, filled with meaning.

In this class, we will explore creative ways to cultivate the 3 aspects of wise intention as skillful means of moving towards freedom from suffering for ourselves and others. We will look at how we can apply wise intention moment to moment in the service of our goals in life, and how those goals differ from rigid expectations. Through some simple writing exercises, relational mindfulness practices, mindful inquiry, and meditation, we will build a supportive community in which to explore how to live these timeless teachings, and integrate them more fully for freedom from suffering and greater well being . There will be time for meditation, teachings, discussion and some exercises to take home to support you in uncovering your deeper aspirations.

This class is recommended for those with a committed meditation practice. This is a class series designed for students to attend all classes. Missing one or two classes is allowed but not advised. Prior registration required.
