Set heartfelt intentions and nurture your spirit with a soothing sound bath and guided loving kindness meditation.
Nurturing the Heart
“Metta [loving-kindness meditation] is the ability to embrace all parts of ourselves, as well as all parts of the world. Practicing metta illuminates our inner integrity because it relieves us of the need to deny different aspects of ourselves.”
-Buddhist teacher Sharon Salzberg
In this heart-opening session, nestled among nature at the Benedict Canyon Retreat House, we will direct warmth and tenderness toward areas within ourselves that need care. Expect a short talk, various guided metta meditations, periods of optional sharing, and a soothing sound bath to close.
Who is this practice for?
This healing guided meditation and sound bath is for anyone who is in need of a greater sense of spaciousness and connection. All are welcome, including those who have never meditated before.
