As we close the spring season and welcome the warmer months, we have an opportunity to reflect on change.
The last 3 Mondays of May, join InsightLA teacher Robert Lurye for mindful movement, sitting meditation and community sharing as the sun sets over Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Harmony with Change
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” ― Anaïs Nin
It’s common to react to change by tightening or grasping in an attempt to feel stability or comfort. In this 3-week series, we will practice presence with the changing season and the transition from day to night, learning to be more accepting of life’s natural fluidity.
Who is this practice for?
These sessions are for anyone who is ready to live in greater harmony with life’s uncertainty.
Expect gentle movement, meditation and group discussion. All are welcome at this sunset practice, including those who have never meditated before.
Attend any one class, or the complete series of 3.
Where is this event located?
This event will take place in-person at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Please arrive via 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. Tell the guard at the front you are there for an InsightLA event and they will show you where to park and meet the group.
