Wisdom and Compassion
Wisdom and compassion are two distinct arms of Buddhist practice, often described as two wings of a bird. To take flight, we need to develop both equally. Although different, wisdom and compassion complement each other, both contributing to our awakening.
This 2-class drop-in series offers an opportunity to strengthen both the wisdom and the compassion wings of meditative practice. We will explore mindfulness meditation alongside the heart-based practice of compassion. Together, they support a more nuanced understanding of mental clarity and heartfulness.
Who is this class series for?
This 2-class series on wisdom and compassion is for anyone who would like to learn more about how to work with these two wings of practice in their meditation practice and in daily life.
Everyone is welcome. This course is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
