Anushka Hauerstock
Visiting Teacher
Anushka Hauerstock is a mindfulness and meditation teacher with 18 years of training in traditional and secular meditation centers across India, Southeast Asia, and the West. Certified by the UCLA Mindfulness Research Center and InsightLA, she has been teaching since 2020, guiding groups ranging from adults and children to individuals in recovery from substance abuse. She holds a BA in both Philosophy and Communication from Tel Aviv University, as well as a Film Diploma from the Sam Spiegel Film & TV Academy in Jerusalem.
In her classes, Anushka combines traditional Buddhist techniques with modern mindfulness practices to help students ease physical tension and address compulsive thought and behavioral patterns. Her approach, grounded in Buddhist teachings and neuroscience, encourages simplicity, concentration, and creativity as pathways to clarity and joy in daily life.
