Carol Moss

Carol has been practicing meditation for nearly thirty years in the Tibetan, Zen and Vipassana (Insight) traditions. For sixteen years she has facilitated a non- denominational sitting-group, which includes guided and silent meditation followed by sharing in the Council style (which encourages shadow work). Her approach is inspired by Trudy Goodman and her fellow Insight teachers.

An environmental and political/social activist, Carol is also a potter and a non- practicing attorney. She currently heads CART, a Malibu-based taskforce on homelessness. Mindfulness practice and basic Buddhist teachings encourages her to do this work with an open mind and heart.

In a peaceful space at the ocean’s edge, she gratefully shares what has helped her survive and thrive.
