Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Refund and Event Policies

The end result of birth is death. We all know this, but how often do we deny that our time will come? What would it look like if we were to embrace this precious life while acknowledging the impermanence of it all?

On his deathbed, Socrates exhorted his followers to practice dying as the highest form of wisdom. Preparing for our death can be one of the most rational and rewarding acts of a lifetime. It is an exercise that gives us the opportunity to deal with unfinished business and enter into a new and vibrant relationship with life. This will be a year of forgiveness, gratitude, letting go and letting be with love and kindness.

Our Year to Live group will meet monthly and participants will be guided in practical strategies, powerful guided meditations, group discussions, optional field trips, one-on-one meetings with Amy and Valerie and heart-opening practices to help with this work, so that whenever the ultimate moment does arrive for each of us, we will not feel that it has come too soon.

The book A Year to Live by Stephen Levine will be our guide. No prior meditation experience necessary. We welcome anyone who has the desire to begin this important journey with us.

Students must register for the entire program in order to participate.

The class will meet every 3rd Sunday of the month from 1pm – 3:30pm.  Here are specific dates:
