Refund and Event Policies

Join hosts Aleta, Vimalasara, and Arisika every last Sunday of the month to release past losses, and name and claim new blessings.

We are living in a time where there are 32 countries currently at war, with over 20 of them happening in the continent of Africa. The war that has escalated in the Middle East, has not only been a genocide of a race of people, it has escalated Islamphobia and antisemitism in the west. What is our role, and purpose in times of such human tragedy?

ReClaim the Untold Legacy of MLK

Interpretation of Martin Luther King’s legacy fuels the fight over Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Affirmative Action. King’s most famous quotes have fueled a culture war over the radical merits of MLK’s legacy.

Youth in Florida are not only being excluded from Critical Race Theory (CRT) today, but now youth today are given lies disguising the amnesia of the deep rooted hatred of MLK. MLK hatred continuously has been due to White Imperialism and patriarchy in the US government and Florida. The surprise is that this hatred still exist through Black churches, synagogues, dojos, and meditation centers today that have been given large amounts of money to not push the legacy of MLK, but to become paid off stopping Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. How do we sit on cushion, and also never deny our leader. How do we ReClaim and re-love the legacy of MLK.

Afrikan Wisdom

Here in North America where many are celebrating the Day of the Dead, let’s reflect on the wisdom of the Ancestors to face the challenging times ahead. As African-descended people, we always called on the ancestors when times were difficult – and we are not the first generation to face environmental change, threats of war, or personal loss. Today, let’s come together and share our fears, our dreams, and our stories of resilience. Let’s call on the ancestors who support us – and who also survived apocalyptic times – bringing stories of resistance, thrivance, hope, and human, animal and spiritual ally-ship that are the key to our survival in these perilous times.
