It’s easy and common for us to be disconnected from our bodies. This can happen when we’re stuck in our heads, distracted by social media, affected by trauma, physical pain or not living up to what we think our bodies should look like.
This guided meditation practice is an invitation to drop out of our thinking mind and into the present moment by tuning into the body. We find that over time, resting our awareness in the body can be a safe refuge for the mind.
Expect a 5-minute introduction followed by a 30-minute guided meditation and ending with 10 minutes of Q&A with the teacher.
Who is this practice for?
This guided meditation practice is for anyone who has a human body and wishes to reconnect to the present moment by way of the body.
All levels of practitioners are welcome, including those who are new to mindfulness and meditation.
Where is this practice located?
This class is online only. Join us LIVE on Zoom from the comfort of your own home or another safe space. Zoom details will be sent automatically a few minutes after you register.
Although this is a donation-based class, registration is required.
