The intention of these sessions is to welcome our sangha (community) across time zones to practice together.
This weekly 30 minute guided meditation will be centered around deepening the heart practices through different forms of Lovingkindness (Radiating Metta) Compassion (the Compassionate Body Scan), Appreciative Joy (Gratitude practice), and Equanimity (alternate phrases). These are known as the Brahma Viharas, the “Divine Abodes” of the heart in Insight Meditation. There will be some time for a short talk on the theme as well. Stay for just the meditation and talk or join for the whole hour which includes a short time for community connection and discussion afterwards. Note you do not need to have attended the previous “Awakened Heart” Series to join.
Join for all 4 sessions or drop in. Come as you are. Welcoming all hearts, bodies, and minds.
