Cancellation & Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.
For everyone there are times when it is difficult to practice. These times are actually precious opportunities to deepen our capacity to transform destructive mind states into mindfulness and compassion. Learning to practice with what keeps us stuck is a gateway towards deeper peace and freedom.
We will explore contemporary and traditional Buddhist mindfulness and compassion teachings that help us let go of fear and reactive habit patterns.
Through meditation, meditation instruction, teachings and group discussion, this class is designed to develop new tools and skills.
This class is for students who have some meditation experience, such as the Basics of Mindfulness class or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

This class is a Dana based class. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Dana means giving. The suggested donation for this class series, which includes 6 classes, is $180 dollars.
$30 per person of an average size class at InsightLA covers the cost of paying teachers, administrators, rent and outreach, as well as covering the participation of students who will pay less.
