Our busy lives often feel hectic and hurried. We can gain greater ease, clarity, and stability by getting to know the Buddha’s teachings on the four foundations of mindfulness.
On the last 2 Mondays of June, join InsightLA teacher Eileen Ybarra at Hollywood Forever Cemetery to explore the first and second foundations of these classic four objects of meditation.
First and Second Foundations
Experience the first and second foundations of mindfulness with guided meditation, a dharma talk and community sharing in a safe and supportive setting.
Expect guided meditation practices centered on the breath and body. We will unpack the Buddha’s teachings on the foundations of mindfulness, exploring their possible meaning and discussing how they might apply to our daily lives.
Who is this practice for?
This practice is for anyone who would like to find personal grounding, explore Buddhist teachings on mindfulness, and connect to others in a supportive community setting.
All are welcome, including those who have never meditated before.
Attend any one class or both.
Schedule:
June 19th, 7-8:30pm
