“When we start to live from the heart, we begin to soften the grip of fear and reactivity and move into the spaciousness of now.” — Pema Chödrön

In the midst of our busy, often overwhelming lives, it’s easy to feel depleted—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This daylong retreat offers a supportive space to pause, reconnect, and gently fill your inner cup through the restorative power of mindfulness.

Held in the peaceful natural setting of the Benedict Canyon Retreat House, we’ll spend the day tending to the nervous system and reconnecting with the heart’s natural capacity for steadiness, clarity, and compassion. Through guided meditation, optional movement, walking practice, and gentle silence, we’ll slow down and listen deeply to what the body, heart, and mind need most.

This retreat is offered with a trauma-sensitive approach. Participants are encouraged to honor their own pace, and all practices will be invitational, with plenty of room for rest, reflection, and care. Whether you’re new to meditation or returning to deepen your practice, you’re welcome just as you are.

About Living Deeply

Living Deeply was born from a shared intention: to bring mindfulness off the cushion and into the full complexity of everyday life. It reflects a dedication to living in alignment—where presence, compassion, and awareness are not just internal experiences, but embodied in how we relate, speak, listen, and care.

This offering is grounded in the understanding that practice doesn’t end when we leave the retreat. Instead, it’s a continuous unfolding—an effort to meet each moment with honesty and heart. When we live this way, our practice naturally extends outward, touching the people and communities we move through.

Looking forward to seeing and practicing together!
