Awareness does not belong only to the cushion. It can accompany us while we brush our teeth, walk to the car, talk with family, or wash the dishes. Sayadaw U Tejaniya’s teaching helps us see that the mind is always learning—not only during formal meditation.

This daylong explores how to bring awareness into ordinary activities. We look at the simple moments of daily life as our main training ground. Instead of separating “practice” and “life,” we learn how awareness can flow through both.

This style is helpful for people who feel too busy to meditate, or who want a practice that supports them throughout the day.

You are welcome to join and discover how daily life itself becomes a gentle teacher.

Generosity/Dana
This is a dana retreat. The practice of giving donations/dana helps continue the ancient Buddhist monastic tradition of teaching on a dana basis – dana being the Pali word for generosity or giving freely.

Your contributions help teachers to lead a life devoted to teaching both at InsightLA and in other parts of the world, including communities without the means to donate. Your gifts also allow teachers to take time for their own practice, ensuring that their teachings are continuously enriched.

Suggested Donation: $85
