Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

In the event that these spots have been claimed and you’re interested in attending please email support@insightla.org to be added to the financial support waitlist.

In addition, we offer Payment Plans in a variety of amounts and durations (ie: If the class is $100 you can make 2 monthly payments of $50 or 4 monthly payments of $25). For payment plan requests, please email support@insightla.org

Safety

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or special event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date. Refund and Event Policies

This class introduces a range of mindfulness concepts and practices relevant to living in a dynamic world.  This course includes practices that involve stillness, movement, and listening/ speaking. Centering teaching strategies where there are multiple ways for participants to thrive, the intention is to impart practices that nourish us as we navigate a complicated world.

Drawing from science and community knowledges, this interdisciplinary class is taught by two seasoned facilitators that draw from different traditions and integrate anti-racist, LGBTQ+, and feminist teaching approaches. Utilizing best practices to facilitate online community-building, each class combines lecture, practice, and group discussion. This 6-week course is accessible and meaningful for beginners as well as experienced meditators who want to refresh the fundamentals of their practice. Mindful movement exercises are suitable for all abilities and bodies and include Qi Gong and gentle yoga. This course is relevant for people of all backgrounds and religions.
