Grief can be a painful and lonely journey. At the same time, grief offers us the opportunity to connect more intimately to ourselves, our communities, and the profound teachings of loss.
Join grief counselors and mindfulness meditation teachers Brian Stefan and Karen Cryer for a shared exploration of grief in a safe, supportive group setting.
The Grief Journey
Most of us know it’s unhelpful to avoid or suppress our experience with grief. But we may not know how to best acknowledge and embrace grief as a natural and necessary process. It’s common to wonder if we’re doing it ‘right.’
Mindfulness, movement, and community are supportive for grief because they assist us in being present with this moment. By learning to recognize how grief shows up in our mind, body, and heart, we can soften to pain instead of feeling defeated by it.
