This class series provides the foundations of a mindfulness practice. It is perfect for beginners and even non-beginners who have never taken a foundation class.

Simply put, mindfulness is the practice of enhanced attention. Mindfulness is a skill, like any other skill you’ve tried (sports, art, etc.). However, mindfulness is a mental skill. By paying mindful attention to your breath, body, emotions, and thoughts in a way that isn’t caught or influenced by judgments and comments, you will see things more clearly and become free of the causes and conditions that lead to stress.

In addition, the practice of mindfulness leads to more concentration, resilience and you’ll get things done more quickly and with more happiness.

This series includes classes on the following topics:

  • Mindfulness of the Breath
  • Mindfulness of the Body
  • Mindfulness of our Emotions
  • Mindfulness of Thinking and Mind States

Schedule: The class will run on Mondays in May (5, 12, 19, 26) from 7pm-8pm PT

Suggested donation: $125
