Join us for a Melissa McKay at Mary and Joseph Retreat  center for the Path of Lovingkindness: A Metta Retreat. In this retreat we will practice loving-kindness meditation all day with alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation. This retreat is designed to cultivate compassion, love, and understanding towards ourselves and others, breaking down the barriers of the heart. 

What to Expect:
Daily sessions of guided Metta meditation
Noble silence to support the quieting of the heart.
Alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation.
Group discussions focused on the principles of loving-kindness

Accommodations:

Single and double room accomodations to support your focus on meditation
Nutritious, silent, vegetarian meals served to nourish your body and mind
Light evening meals are offered and students can opt for skipping the evening meal in the practice of taking the 8 precepts.

This retreat demands full engagement.  Adherence to silence and the schedule is paramount for yours and others experience.

This retreat is open to anyone interested in deepening their practice of Metta meditation, regardless of experience level.
