“How might your life have been different if there had been a place for you? A place for you to go…a place of women, to help you learn the ways of woman…a place where you were nurtured from an ancient flow sustaining you and steadying you as you sought to become yourself. A place of women to help you find and trust the ancient flow already there within yourself…waiting to be released… How might your life be different?” Judith Duerck
Wildwomen is a monthly circle for sharing, connection and awakening wild womanhood. Founded and led by Maria Egan and Lulu Toselli and inspired by ‘Women Who Run with the Wolves’ , the classic text on the fierce feminine by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. We will explore aspects of the ‘wild woman’ including creativity, intuition, passion, and the spiritual elements of female power. We are a non profit, inclusive and safe space for all female identified humans.
April 25th: writer, poet and meditation teacher Jackie Parker, offering her writing workshop ‘The Power of Our Stories’
The format will include meditation, writing and sharing in circle
“Stories are medicine. I have been taken with stories since I heard my first. They have such power; they do not require that we do, be, act, anything — we need only listen.”
Clarissa Pinkola Estes
“There is great power in the stories that we carry. Jackie’s workshops are designed to help you discover the truths within your hidden stories and your unique writer’s voice. You will experience what it is like to write fluidly, from a place of safety and trust. The prompts and exercises Jackie provides lets you dive deep and write beautiful, well-crafted real life stories, the very first time.”
