Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

Refund and Event Policies

We are living in uncertain times; the pandemic, social unrest, and polarization that may be affecting us physically, mentally and emotionally.  This workshop will explore how we can learn to keep our heads and hearts above the waters in the midst of it all.  Within the teachings of the Dhamma we can learn to develop the qualities of the mind and heart to meet the uncertainties of life with a wise and compassionate heart.  In this workshop, there will be time to listen to a Dhamma talk, practice meditation, and have small and large group discussion.

We may be asking ourselves:

  • How am I adjusting to the reality that things are not going back to “normal”?
  • How am I dealing with all the contradictory information?
  • How am I dealing with ongoing separation from people I love?
  • And recently – the shocking news of George Floyd’s murder that has ignited protests and rioting in a number of major cities in the USA.  This is the most recent incidence of so many acts of violence within POC and other marginalized communities.  This points out so sadly and clearly that racism, prejudice, and bigotry continue to deeply exist.
  • These acts of violence and the consequential protests, riots, along with the uncertainties of the pandemic are shaking us to the bones.
  • Where is this country and world heading?
  • How do I meet my fears in a wise way?  Is there room for hope?

We look forward to being with you in this exploration and practice of learning how to ride the waves of change with an open and wise and compassionate heart in the midst of it all…
