Join us to cultivate compassion and fundraise to alleviate the suffering caused by hurricane Fiona to marginalized communities in Puerto Rico.
This a unique opportunity to practice loving kindness in a collective effort to be of service through reflection, community engagement, and generosity.
InsightLA’s teachers Delia Roman, in Puerto Rico, and Rosamaria Segura, in Los Angeles, will host a meditation and short discussion in English and Spanish about the current impact and conditions of some of the most impacted communities by hurricane Fiona.
InsightLA has stood in solidarity with Puerto Rico since 2019. We have been teaching in partnership with our social arm, Insight in Action, and Caras con Causa (causapr.org) to bring mindfulness meditation practices to youth in Puerto Rico.
This is a hybrid event; the gathering will be in person in our Culver City Location and via zoom. Monetary donations will go directly to Caras con Causas to support their effort to bring aide to marginalized neighborhoods in Cataño y Guaynabo, located on the Northeastern coast of Puerto Rico.
