We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Donations are not refundable.

Refund and Event Policies

In divisive times the Buddhist practices teach us how to be agents of healing and to make our lives a source of joy for others.  Through practice we learn to disagree without becoming enemies.  We learn to discern unskillful actions in others without turning them into enemies.  We learn the blessings of forgiveness and the cohesiveness of love that brings people together rather than apart.  In this mindfulness daylong we will infuse our practice with the healing qualities of forgiveness and love towards ourselves and others.  And through that we will find inspiration for uplifting and helpful actions to take in the world.
 
The schedule will be:
  • 10-11am Introduction and Talk
  • 11-11:45am Mindfulness Meditation
  • 11:45-12:15pm Alternate Posture Meditation
  • 12:15-12:45pm Q and A
  • 12:45-1:30pm Lunch Break
  • 1:30-2:15pm Talk
  • 2:15-3pm Mindfulness Meditation
  • 3-3:30pm Alternate Posture Meditation
  • 3:30-4pm Q and A/ Close
