“Do you know that [right now] you are reading? Yes? Good! That’s awareness. How much energy did that require? Was it tiring or difficult? No? So, you can meditate.”
-Sayadaw U Tejaniya
When our relationship to practice becomes tight, tedious, or filled with tanha (thirst) the simple practice of awareness and wisdom can easily fall out of balance. We get caught in liminal phases of indecision, turning towards unskillful coping mechanisms, and we forget our moment-to-moment practice. Fortunately, continuity of practice in the container of sangha provides a brighter and more energized path to help us in daily life. In this abbreviated retreat format, LC will provide instructions for practice for each day and we will discuss tips, insights, and reports from the field in the evenings.
Please join us if you are looking to:
- reinvigorate your practice in daily life (especially in mundane tasks)
- create routine and healthier habits with a greater sense of purpose and accountability
- improve your relationship with the nature of mind especially as taught by Sayadaw U Tejaniya
- receive and give kindness and support from fellow committed sangha members
- gain and apply insights with wise intention

Testimonials:
“Lien Chi “LC” Tran is one of the most experienced practitioners amongst the new generation of teachers.”
-Jack Kornfield
“Practicing with LC is like receiving a gift of skillful practices and embodied teachings alive with love and generosity. She naturally inspires and nourishs our heartful sangha. But don’t take my word for it. Please come see for yourself.”
“LC truly embodies the teachings and is an inspiration to study with. LC is so charming and sweet. Her smile is priceless. I loved how she shared so much of her personal life and emphasized the simplicity of and importance of practice. Together they have helped me tap into the essence of who I really am and have inspired me more than I ever expected to deepen my own practice as I prepare to share the practice of mindfulness with others. I highly recommend her to any and everyone!”
“I signed up for this event without any experience with Melissa or LC. They made a lovely teaching team, and I will intentionally look to incorporate workshops, daylongs, and future retreats led by them.”
