Financial Support

Our mission is to make all of our programs accessible. Every fee-based offering has a limited number of pay-what-you-can spots available to support self-identified people of color, members of marginalized groups (queer people, transgender people, and  people with disabilities) and those in financial need (those for whom the cost to attend is not financially possible).

These spots are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please pay at the highest level you can afford. In order for this support to be available, we rely on those who can afford to pay the full price to do so.

Find out if spots are available by clicking REGISTER NOW on the event you are interested in.

Safety

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or special event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. There is a way to release the mind  — and heart ! — from confusion, afflictive emotions and wrong understanding about reality. Wise mindfulness can disentangle the tangle that cuts us off from joy and a vibrant heart. It is a way of living that includes meditation but also meditative presence in daily life. During this online home retreat we will put on the Dharma (buddhist psychology) lens to explore our experience with curiosity and tenderness and see how freedom might be possible no matter what is going on.

There will be instructions given by Pascal, guided meditations, Q&A, teachings, periods of silent sitting and walking meditations as well as time for self-structured mindfulness practice.

Beginners and experienced students are welcome to this quiet and friendly gathering.

Pricing:

This is a dana retreat. The Base Cost includes InsightLA’s administration fees only and it does not include compensation to the teacher. There will be an opportunity at the end of the retreat to give a donation/dana to Pascal.

Please consider paying at the highest rate you can afford. Your generosity helps to support fellow practitioners who might not otherwise be able to attend InsightLA. Any amount above the Base Cost becomes a tax deductible donation.

Dana to the teacher :
The practice of generosity helps continue the ancient Buddhist monastic tradition of teaching on a dana basis – dana being the Pali word for generosity or giving freely. Your contributions help Pascal lead a life devoted to teaching both at InsightLA and in other parts of the world, including communities without the means to donate. Your gifts also allow the teacher to take time for his own practice, ensuring that his teachings are continuously enriched. We thank you for your support!
