Safety 

We work to protect the safety of all students. We reserve the right to remove any student from any class, sitting group, retreat, or any event if the student is disruptive to the safe learning environment we maintain for all.

Cancellation & Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel a class or event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If InsightLA cancels an event you’ve registered for, you will be offered a full refund. If an event has to be postponed for any reason, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Refunds for Donation-Based Events (requested by the student)

95% Refund – the 5% is to cover the cost of our payment processor

Refund and Event Policies

Just Show Up Zen Sangha is an online Zen practice group. We welcome you to join us, whether you are totally new to Zen meditation or an experienced practitioner. We do sitting and walking meditation, and have discussions and dharma talks. 

We are serious about our practice, but in a casual and friendly manner, as reflected in our name, Just Show Up. As lay practitioners, we use the particulars of our daily lives to inform our practice. In this sense, Just Show Up means to be fully present in showing up for our lives, whatever the circumstances. 

We meet via Zoom on Monday and Friday mornings at 7:15am PT.  We meet and greet until 7:30am when we begin formal practice.  

Schedule (PT)
Monday Mornings: 7:30 – 8:00am
Friday Mornings: 7:30 – 8:45am (on Fridays we meet for 75 minutes instead of 30 minutes)

We are a part of the San Francisco Zen Center diaspora.  Ava Louise Stanton is our leader.  She is a Lay Entrusted teacher in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi.
