Help Us Create Positive Change in the World!
We will be raising funds to continue our life-changing work of sharing high-quality Mindfulness programs to all those who need it, including those among us who have least access to these transformative practices. This includes:

  • Our Insight in Action program partners with 27 nonprofits in Los Angeles and throughout the world to bring mindfulness training to marginalized communities and caregivers on the front lines of suffering.  Students, teachers, healthcare workers, and families from under-resourced communities who work with Insight In Action benefit by learning healthy coping mechanisms to deal with their suffering, and are able to share these practices with their community.
  • Insight In Schools teaches mindfulness and compassion practices in schools that would otherwise be unable to pay for them with the goal of enhancing students’ self-awareness, kindness and resilience. This 100% donor funded program brings life-changing practices to students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators in the greater Los Angeles area and celebrates the unique experiences of individuals and communities who are often unseen and undervalued.
  • The Mudita Fund: We recognize that one of Los Angeles most valuable assets is our diverse community. The Mudita Fund offers financial assistance and awards scholarships to Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) students, those from LGBTQ+ (and other marginalized) communities, as well as people experiencing financial hardship. It allows those who might be systemically excluded from mindfulness spaces to not only participate in InsightLA programming, but to enrich the InsightLA student community with new perspectives and experiences which help shape InsightLA into a more connected and effective vehicle for the sharing of mindfulness, compassion, and love.
  • The Insightla Classes, Retreats And Events which serve thousands of people a month via high quality online and in-person events. This programming ranges from ‘Mindful Self-Compassion’ and ‘Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction’ classes, to traditional Buddhist meditation retreats, to Arts and Music based mindfulness events, to daily, weekly, and monthly practice and affinity groups that serve the community week in week out come rain or shine.

InsightLA is a non-profit organization supported by the generosity of a community moved by compassion and love for the world. The funds raised from your participation will support our mission of calming minds, opening hearts and changing the world.
