The three marks of existence are the Buddha’s basic description of reality—they are impermanence, suffering, and non-self. Insight into these three simple truths, which characterize all things, can create more inner liberation and greater ease. How can an understanding of these truths have practical benefits for our daily lives? We will explore this question together within this three-week series.
Each week, there will be a 30-minute guided mindfulness meditation, a talk on the concept of the three marks of existence, and time for discussion within a supportive community setting. To get the most out of these teachings, attend all three classes, However, dropping in for one or two classes is also fine.
Schedule:
This is a class series where students need to register for each date. We highly recommend attending all three classes for the best effect. Those who prefer to drop-in for one or two sessions are also welcome to join.
