Learn to use the lessons of dharma and mindfulness to help ease the friction from living in a neurotypical world.
This twice-monthly practice group focuses on a particular topic each time we meet. Topics include autism and other neurodiverse issues such as ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, learning disabilities and others.
Expect a 30-minute guided meditation and a dharma talk on a particular theme relating to neurodiverse issues, followed by discussion and Q&A.
Who is this practice group for?
This practice group is for neurodiverse people who would like to explore how mindfulness might help bring more ease into their everyday lives.
Everyone is welcome, including those who have never meditated before.
Location & Schedule:
This practice group meets online every 1st and 3rd Monday from 7-8:30pm Pacific Time.
Note: The group will not meet on July 4th

Pete Grella is an InsightLA meditation facilitator who has been meditating and studying secular Buddhism for the past decade. Pete is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and, after experiencing his own transformation using the tools of Buddhist Meditation, is an avid proponent of meditation as a resource for adults on the spectrum.
